The consultancy based in Dubai (UAE) is utilizing Alpha Networks’ cloud-hosted video software Tucano and white-label user-interface Gecko, and Harmonic’s VOS® 360 cloud streaming platform to enable all actions related to video workflow (transcoding, packaging, encryption, origin, and storage).

The service aims to provide MENA content providers with a complete end-to-end multi-screen video platform solution to launch a world-class OTT service.

Thanks to its modularity, Tucano allows easy activation of a large list of video features according to clients’ needs. Hares & Co. next generation video platform will support different formats of video files, including Live & EPG, and will be equipped with all necessary tools for content management of VoD catalogs and subscriptions. In addition, the content editorialization module will help enhance content promotion on the homepage of the applications.
